I have now increased the dull day light levels

in the corner of my south facing lounge, which could possibly affect my new House Plants display.

There was a spare socket on the adaptor.

Today bought a small LED fish tank strip light £12
and a small Daylight Reflector £6.

Put the LED light on the back of the T/V table which
is near the plants, and the Reflector on the plant pot
in the middle. This works well, giving just enough extra light at low cost – and is there as and when I need it.

Good idea, let's hope we have a bright and sunny summer and you don't need it much though!:)

Brilliant Diane, a lot cheaper than grow lights, Derek.

Saturday a.m. update. Cloudy. Put the plug into the socket, daylight lighting on my House Plants.
Very pleased.
This only works with plants kept on a coffee table area
with an adjacent table/chair to place the LED light on.

Hi Diane, as long as it works, that's the main thing. who cares that it's only on a coffee table, you only have yourself to please, very glad it worked for you, Derek.

Have learned that light levels are important, as well as warmth, and moisture, for all plants.
