That's really out of season isn't it. I've got grape hyacinths flowering now. They don't usually come until May. It's a strange year

Wild flowers are as confused as our garden plants, its bound to happen I s`pose, very cold here today, our first morning for clearing frost off the car screens was this morning...

We have a celandine open, and last week I saw a couple of sea campion flowers down by the beach. A friend in St Davids has a nice clump of cowslips out and I have seen violets. My grape hyacinths are being more chary - no flowers yet. All this while the last few leaves are still clinging to some of the trees!

I hadn`t Stera until May of this year and then I heard two, one was only 5miles away from our home at the fishing lake hubby goes too and I was thrilled, bit like a kid, lol, the other was at Devils Gorge in Wales as few weeks later...

Yes, very lucky - the last one I heard (and also saw!!) was in Brittany about six years ago. Is Devils Gorge the same as Devils Bridge? We had coffee there a few weeks ago, but it was too wet and too late to go down to the falls.
