BUSY IN GARDEN

Hi, been doing some tidying up in the garden, weather been quite warm today, done some de-heading of the roses, planted Sweet William seeds, pricked out Wallflower seedlings to grow them on (back breaking job) but someone’s got to do it. Sorted out loads of pots to contain all of my seeds picked from the garden ready for planting for next year. Found bulbs on my lilies which will be planted for next year. Had a really good day just pottering about in the garden, I find it so relaxing, although I always think that when you sit down and take a look around, you can’t really see what you have done. I still have weeding to do, but thats for another day. I’ve added some photos of my pansies and one of my many lilies and minaure roses.

I always feel de-stressed when I spend time in the garden GrannyB and thank you Terratonnie for your comment I do love pansies you can get such pretty colours.

Some pansies have "faces" don't they...
That one lower right of your photo is really lovely :o)

They do don't they, yes that one is lovely, I have boxes of pansies all around the garden and they all seem to have faces on them, I think this is another reason I like them, another thing I've found with my pansies when mixed in the boxes is that they seem to try and grow to be the tallest plant in the box.

Its a busy time around now, with getting things ready for overwintering, planting new bulbs, tidying the beds and borders, I always call it pottering but actually some of it can be backbreaking. Pansies are one of my favourites as well and I love to see their little smiling faces...
