Something lacking...

Hallo! I’ve started planting- garlic and shallots,Wilko’s finest! Being something of a novice I was a little puzzled by the garlic;I couldn’t see the point in planting a
bulb of garlic-and getting a bulb of garlic in return:but a quick consultation with You-Tube put me on the right track. The shallots are ‘Golden Gourmet’ and ‘Red Sun’ the former look a bit wimpish ,to be honest, but the latter look really hard and up for it:we shall see.
During a moment’s reflection the other day,I realised that there was something lacking on my plot,no,not a gardener, but somewhere to sit. So,I decided to make a seat, which I constructed, believe it or not, from odd bits of wood which I found lying about.I was so chuffed with the end result that I took a picture of it,it was also an opportunity to use my new Fuji camera,Incidentally, why are modern cameras so fiendishly complicated? It’s only a compact but it came with a manual that is 148 pages long! I’ve had it three weeks and I’m still spending 2 hours a night studying the instructions. I’m reminded, wistfully, of the 1970s when I bought my first decent camera:an Olympus om1 SLR,a beautiful little camera, and so beautifully simple to operate that a manual was superfluous.
Back to seat: I know it’s not Chippendalesque, but evocative of the Georgian period ? With echoes of William Morris perhaps? Denise, whom I introduced to you in my previous blog, and who has impeccable taste ,seemed so impressed that, unusually, she seemed lost for words. I hope you like it too.

Nothing wrong with that Davros, its somewhere to sit and admire your plot whilst thinking about the next job, or even waiting quietly looking for those furry creatures, also if it rains the water will run off, lol (BTW hope you have sorted the teamaking) you want to see my homemade shelving in my g'houses and the bench in the bottom house is definitely very rustic but also very handy and being homemade all are a perfect height for me to work at, has saved me a fortune and I'm quite proud of my handiwork, I'd sooner spend my cash on the living things for the g'houses so don't mind a bit of the old homemade ..

I wouldn't paint it, its perfect as it is. I think you ought to make a scarecrow to sit on it when you aren't using it, to keep the seat warm. It would look great.
