"Gardening with Friends"

Today was “historic” for us as we actually met up with a fellow GOY member – Patrick – in the garden of his sister-in-law, Helen (incidentally, the English equivalent of our daughter’s name, Eilidh). It shows how the GOY slogan can really bring people together.

It was a lovely, early spring-like afternoon, and we tackled the overgrown Eucalyptus (E. guniii “Cider Gum”). We hope that both the wooden fence and trees recover, Helen!).

Our children also loved playing with Cindy – Thank You,,Liz, for the entertainment (and the sweets, drinks, etc.)

They have not stopped talking and writing about Cindy since!

Hope to meet up with you folks again soon! And Many Thanks, Helen, for the venue!

It got us wondering – has anyone else met up through GOY?

tin now, lol!
