This afternoon I lifted out my two circular pots Which are usually in the middle depth of the pond (2ft deep) and in these pots are my two waterliilies nymphaea alba and nymphaea wanvisa and my water hawthorn! After a good twenty minutes of hacking Alba is now in three pots, two of which are going to the big pond at our other house and one of which will remain at our house in a hexagonal pot with the water hawthorn. Then I reported Wanvisa into a square pot, it has grown two new plants, however I’ve left all the new plants in with the original one!

Don't tell me that the heavy rain and strong wind, bypassed south Yorkshire today,Dan ? the ground looks quite dry..it's been horrible in W.Yorks..You have worked hard, splitting your plants today...

Thankyou bloomer! This was all done in a 20 minute interval between rain showers, however the wind stayed persistent the whole way through!

Haha! Yesterday afernoon was glorious here! That's why we went and bought a new fish! The butterfly koi where we get them from sell out usually in the first two days, it was an early birthday present for me!

That would make you happy,Dan..glad they hadn't sold out..and at least you got an early Birthday present..:o)
We were going to go out for lunch today, which is approx halfway between Huddersfield and Sheffield, but we decided to give it a miss,as it's always worse up there, out in the wilds !

It has been awful wind, our gardens only tiny and sheltered so it isn't so bad!

Oh well done Dan, you are getting organized aren't you, one less job when its time to move, I need you here mate as I've got my top pond to sort this year and I'm dreading it, actually waiting for the warmer weather, spring flowers to finish and help from my grandson, I'll never lift them out on my own, he has already been warned, lol, hope your new fish thrives for you....

Thankyou! Just been and put them all in the ponds! Hopefully they'll grow! I like to do it before they grow too much so that I don't disturb them too much! The new fish seems happy so far!
