greenhouse progress

Sunday morning got up with a bit of a sore head after waching Scotland play football. I was in good spirits as I knew my two brothers were giving me a hand finish off my greenhouse, or so i thought. The decking went down no problem and was looking forward to getting the greenhouse into position and glazed . I was hoping that iI would finishing the glazing in a hour or so but this was not the case. It took around 5 hours to glaze and surprise surprise Ismashed a pane just my luck (what a pane) :), If i ever build another greenhouse I will make sure it is not near a fence or wall as it was a major problem getting the glazing in on these sides. I left my brothers to do these sides…...well thats what brother are for. No they were a great help and now I owe them a few beers.

The floor is great and iI am glad that I now put this in first . It feels so big inside just now but do not think I will be able to move in it by July . Have got so many seeds planted just now and it is only the end of March.

Did not finish it on Sunday but finished it off today. I am happy with the result but this is just the start . I now plan on putting a new lawn down. The drainage is very bad in the back garden and it is laid on top of clay which is not the best. I now have to make my garden more child safe as i have a wee girl of 7 months and she will soon be on her feet. My poor wee dogs will now be getting shut off from new lawn but plan on building a good sized run on side of house as I will have some good space when I move my hut.

I’m happy to get all my plants in the greenhouse and now looking forward to some free space in the kitchen. It was my birthday today so all ends well and got new greenhouse heater as a prezzie :) .... nice day.
