I agree that these programmes were all a wonderful blend of good information, beautiful gardens and for me, envy at the accomplishments of these gardeners!

I'm just ready now to go out in the garden to do some planting...hope the rain holds off for a bit. I've been busy in the house (sadly neglected for many days now!!) so just going out for a change of pace before doing a bit more of the dreaded housework!

11 Jun, 2011

lol w.l ............ i got a bit wet this morning in me jamie's lol .............was planting my courgettes , piked some rhubarb today an made a crumble yummm..........

you enjoy your garden !!! ;0)))

My mum used to make the most delicious rhubarb pie but would also just stew it. Crumble sounds lovely...what kind of a topping do you put on it, Cristina? My crumble recipe I use for any kind of fruit has oatmeal, flour, brown sugar etc. in it along with cinnamon and nutmeg. :) Yum.

You're having a busy weekend with all the hair-do's! Done the dinner but now feeling too lazy for any more housework tonight! There's always tomorrow :) lol

Thanks to your blog I watched the programme a little while ago - while waiting for the Formula One race in Canada to resume, they had stopped it because of the torrential rain - here we have only had a few hours of light rain during the afternoon. The race has still not started after an hour & a half since they stopped it! :-((

12 Jun, 2011

its non stop rain here B.....glad you enjoyed it , did they start the race !!!
w.l thanks for recipe !!! horrid rain here yuk

13 Jun, 2011

@Cristina: They did eventually restart the race - after more than 2 hours I think. I didn't see the end of the race though.

We had a thunderstorm here yesterday which left a great deal of rain - as well as hail! :-))

A few days ago I watched the gardening programme on ITV: Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarch. Quite interesting but very, very brief!

19 Jun, 2011

yes b. very breif ............ shame , you just get into it and its finished lol , ............. you got the hail , we had it a week ago !! its mad isent . bin lovely here 2 days now . got loads dun in garden .;0))).

This year's crop of gardening programmes has been very good in my opinion. The shows have been well presented and there has been a reasonable balance between 'how to ...' and 'appreciation' programmes.

23 Jun, 2011

yes xela............ but they need to be on longer !!! lol
