rain rain

Aw Cristina can just image you all in your swin wear trying to get to the shops. We have only had the odd downpour and mainly at night, lucky us.

We have had very heavy rain here in Newcastle for the last two days and more forecast, but it is still warm.

Oh Cristina, since the hosepipe ban we've had rain every day haven't we? And in the MEN it says that the ban will be in force until christmas. The rain has been bouncing off the pavements here and we too have had a river passing the door. Luckily we put soakaways in when we paved the back garden otherwise we would have been flooded again......not a happy prospect. I do hope it all clears up before the Tatton Show !!

Oh, and it's still very warm as well, very close and clammy.....makes it difficult to sleep at night. The gardens need the water, and so do the reservoirs ; just hope it's the right rain in the right place !! LOL Keep smiling........ ;-))

Had rain but not too much forcast thunder storms tomorrow its VERY muggy here today makes me soooo tired! (i am in North Lincolnshire by the way)

Down here on the South coast we have not had a decent rainfall for weeks ... the lawn is brown with Clover being the only green part ... plants are flopping over unless I drench them ! As I said to Clarice earlier ... how can this small country of ours vary so much with the weather ? It's stifling and we need a good thunder storm to clear the air.

Water water everywhere but not a hose in sight. The boss of United Utilities should have consulted St' Swithen. It's stair rods here at the moment. My neigbour went to the Lakes with a lady from Tywan yesterdey, before they left she said it was so hot back home she didn't mind the rain...hope she can swim.

What rain??? none here as dry as bones....:((((

Its been very hot and humid here too ,but we had a heavy downpour early evening,and a thunderstorm.Its still raining steadily,but thank goodness,the humidity has gone,and much more pleasant..

Very hot here again with lots of humidity but still no rain.

So sticky here and defo. NO rain !!

Send me some please, the garden is now desperate, everything is drying out and finishing too soon, will be flowerless if this goes on any longer.....

Yeah I agree Dd, my garden is beginning to go crispy, this will be a very short season wont it? I saw a conker tree yesterday and all its leaves had gone brown and dry and it is shutting itself down, already??

Oh dear, dont want an early winter, have not got over the last one yet lol

lol every 1 wot on earth is going on, xcuse the pun. haha well my garden is looking very green BUT i carnt sit out and enjoy it. heres hoping you get rain where it dry ,and sun where its wet lol . happy gardening wot ever the wether.x
