sunday was my birthday, so i had a rest from gardening and went out wth hubby 4 the day.a nice long drive and a meal in burton on trent , a couple who used to have a country pub near us and now have 1 there. 13 centry inn . they think mary queen of scots stayed there .a small villarge called tutbury.got lots of nice pressies, mostly plants and seeds cos they no thats wot i love,waste of mony buying anything else really lol.

the gnome and the angel my grand girls bought me and the are now incharlies bed , but i think little gnome may have a wander around the garden wen we are in bed, so will have to look out 4 him in the flower beds .

the yellow shrub rose was a pressie to my self and the stadard azala was from my frend . the seeds from my boys and the baliys allso ,think thats to enjoy after all the planting hic!!!!!!!!!

the small azala was from my best frend alli who allso had rosie 4 the day ,think she was worn out as not herd from her yet .maybe shes still asleep. the other plants r my pressies to me. the large leaf plant is called a rubarb (notthe kind u eat) has 3 meter flower spike ,so we will see.

this is alderly edge were they say witches lived hundreds of years ago. think they still have a coven there now. peaple go there at halloween .to look over the edge. posh and becks allso lived there.

Charlie`s Garden...all your other presents were just great! Well it seems you had a great day out for your Birthday..hope you enjoyed your meal?
