All these were taken today! Still no sunshine at all, but it’s so mild!

Helleborus ‘Double Ellen Purple’

Saxifrage ‘Blackberry and Apple Pie’

‘Salvation’

Erysimum

Fuchsia ‘Snowcap’ a present from Shirley :)

Primula poissonii – I love the way it pouts! Been flowering since early summer and just won’t stop!

Heather – a more seasonal plant :)

Penstemon

Osteospermum

Heuchera ‘Fire Chief’ flower in the foreground….many of he heucheras in this corner are flowering now and looking wonderful.

Verbascum ‘Gainsborough’ The softest of yellow :)

Yellow Osteos are still bright and cheerful. I’ve taken cuttings from these for next year, but at this rate, these big ones may still be there in the spring!

Euonymus…only the new growth is pure yellow. The older has nice variegation.

Alstroemeria ‘Indian Summer’…I thought it would be under a blanket of straw by now!

Gentian Sino-ornata – almost over now

Erysimum ‘Winter Orchid’

Clematis ‘Vienetta’ – Final curtain call

‘Fighting Temeraire’

Pretty bedding viola

Fuchsia ’Delta’s Sarah’ in the greenhouse

Blue Pot with succulents and pink Cordyline in the greenhouse

Part of the Golden Border and Heuchera Corner today

I know we are the only part of the country still with thick cloud and rain today…this is what happens when the weather comes from the East. So enjoy your sunshine everyone! :))

Ok, own up, you don't really live in Scotland do you?

Seriously, I can't believe the amount of plants you have which are still flowering. As for that Helleborus, it's just fabulous.

Wonderful november display. I love the hellebore and the fuchsia Delta’s Sarah particularly. Thanks for cheering me up today.

These are amazing - can't choose a favourite. How you did all this in a year I can't imagine, but you deserve the results.

Thanks everyone...I am just as amazed as you are. I hope the mild weather continues....but it would be nice to have some real daylight. We haven't had any since a week past Sunday!

I hear winter has come 4 weeks early in central Canada, they have a foot of snow already. Another 3 weeks it will be over here.

Thanks WR! But I really am getting fed up of dark grey skies now, and no sign of a break from it here either. OH is starting to suffer...he doesn't cope well with it at all. Hope it doesn't last much longer...I even started re-organising the loft today!! How desperate is that? Lol!

Lovely Karen, its very mild here at the moment but that just brings dark, damp conditions, I'd much prefer colder days if they bring back some more light and dry underfoot, we can add an extra layer to combat the cold whereas dampness I too find depressing.....

Oh....tell me about it Linclass! The clouds finally cleared this afternoon and we had a little blue sky and sun before sunset. It was as though we had been transported to a whole new world! I'm just the same as you....bring on the cold weather...and the bright crisp daylight!
