A little walk with Willow...

Molly couldn’t come this morning. She is limping. I think there were a few too many rugby tackles for her yesterday poor wee dog…it’s like a mini being hit by a bus!

Anyway, here we are walking together up the hill and down the hill and back again.

Views from the top of the hill looking towards Fife over the Tay Estuary….

This is the start of Barry Buddon in the distance….where the Commonwealth Games shooting competitions were held…

This is the top of the hill which has the remains of an ancient vitrified fort. It was planted with trees during the Georgian and Victorian years, when there was a large mansion house on the other side of the hill.

And this is just a pictue of harvest on the hill….

And this is one of the three late Calves born in the field opposite the front of my house. I’ll try to get photos of the other two later…they are three beautiful calves and soon they will be taken in for the winter and I shan’t have the pleasure of saying good morning to them every day.

Coming back down the hill now….

And finally, the space ship in my back garden….

Have a good day everyone….food shopping for me :(

wow it is so beautiful up there. The spaceship looks good too :O) Aren't calves pretty creatures, its their eyes that makes me go ooooooooooooooer, love them. I love the fields at harvest time, one of my favourite times of the year. They will be ploughing and dragging next and planting up for next year and then it all goes around again. Great to see the bales of straw and the colour of it this year is absolutely amazing, so golden. :O)

Oh wow Karen ! You are so lucky living amongst these beautiful views ! I'm so jealous ! We have some lovely country walks around here and I have just joined a walking club to get the beauty of them. If the council gets their way, there will be houses built regardless of it being green belt land !

Karen, you are so blessed. You live in a beautiful place, with fantastic views, a fabulous garden and a spaceship to boot!
Hope Molly is better soon and able to accompany you on your next walk.

Thanks Julia...I am! Molly is all better again and running about after her ball. We took them both to the beach and Willow had fun paddling and splashing. The beach was very quiet so it was no problem getting her to come back to us...phew!

lovely walk and views Karen, I just love all of Scotland we hope to go to Sutherland next year and hire a mobile home to travel in. There appears to be a space ship in your garden, are there no restrictions on plants brought in from other worlds?, you stop at nothing to get new plants LOL. ;-) it all looks fab!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha Teds....it's getting harder and harder to find so etching 'different'! Costing me a fortune in fuel, that's why the oil reserves are so much less than Alex Salmond thinks they are!
