Kath, do you think I should remove these two side shoots now? They are the only two left, but they are getting very large. I’m puzzled as to why no more have developed above them…what would you do?

I should explain to everyone....Kath gave me this fuchsia Mandarin Cream to grow into a standard. It's only about 20" tall at the moment, but I really love the colours. :))

Karen if you want to enjoy the pleasure of the blooms for now you can .

But yes it would take it off but no rush.

Let the fuchsia stem grow till required height you want.

Then pinch out the top.

Only pinch the top when you want to make the head.

Count 4 side shoots then you can start to make a head.

Hope this helps for you.
