I'm here! :)) Hello Everyone!

I’ve no internet connection, and won’t have for a couple more weeks, so I’ve popped in to my local GC and am enjoying a Gingerbread Mocha and use of their connection!

We are so enjoying our new home and I have already started on the garden….pictures soon….but we have been very busy redecorating, new carpets, buying curtains etc. etc. You know what it’s like!

Anyway, the second morning in our new home, there was an incredible light in the morning as the sun rose in a break beneath a thick cloud layer, so I took a few pictures of the views. The first two are from the back of the house, the last one is my view from the front.

Now, don’t forget, I won’t be on here very often at all for the next two weeks at least, but I’ll try to catch up with everyone as soon as I can!

Wow, what fabulous views Karen . . . you are going to be SO happy in your new home! Btw, we recently drove across the Cairngorms (Inverness to Aboyne) and the autumn trees were so spectacular we knew we wouldn't need to visit New England, lol.

Have you managed to find a suitable location to winter all those pots Karen? The views look wonderful.....we will enjoy watching your new garden take shape.
It must be exciting but exhausting setting up your new house. Paint, open windows and cold weather can be hard work.
Speak soon

Lovely Karen, I have a view a bit like the 2nd picture, and you will never get tired of it, and enjoy it during each season, the lower sun at this time, throws up a really clear bright light, and it will change colour as the days pass.

I must be the only person who doesn't know which county you've moved south to!

14 Nov, 2013

Still in the same county feverfew just 6 miles down south from where they were last. lol. More fields and more trees and more countryside and a lot of gardening to do. lol. That will keep her out of mischief for at least 6 months next spring and summer. lol. She has no internet for a few weeks but will be back soon with hopefully lots of pictures of her garden progress. Oo (Karens Mum) x
