The Virginia "Catcher"

Just a little tag game my virginia creeper and foxglove have been playing for the last couple of weeks. The virginia creeper has reached the top of the fence and now creeping about looking for other thing to hold on to. The foxglove is supposed to be ‘foxy’, a dwarf one. Let’s just say it’s not dwarf!

It’s been sending it’s arms to the foxglove for a while, somehow it managed to evade it until now

The foxglove growing so tall is really out of place ,I’m only keeping it to see how it goes

And speaking of misbehaving plants, this Oriental Lily is going a bit nuts

I think it’s that one (pic from last year)

When it wants to apparently, maybe that one was just to happy ;-)
My Monarda is trying to spread, had to take out some of it. Worth it for me.

Monarda is a lovely plant, and smells divine, but it does like to go walk about! The lily is a cracker!

Thank you all. The Monarda and Lily are one of them incidental combinations that turn right :-) Now I need the Monarda to sprint up to get that again...
Hywel, I got that one because it's SUPPOSED to be short! Then I get that giant...
