I'm a novice gardener. My wife and I moved into a house with an already well established, lovely garden that just keeps on doing its own thing beautifully. However, we've made some fairly major changes, landscape wise and are becoming aware that we have a responsibility to face up to the consequences of our actions upon the preivious occupier's hard gardening work, if we want to continue to take advantage of the colourful and varied results.
