After all the rain last weekend we thought we would try and get up the Moor’s to feed the birds but found it very difficult to get through Kingsteignton because of the floods, when we finally got there just look how misty and murky it was , but we still plodded on up there.

This was the first river bridge we had to cross,The first of many.

This is what greeted us, the water was just running of the hills down to the River Dart where we were heading.

We finally arrived at our beloved Dart river , the noise of the water was just something else.
.

The Bird tables are there some where, so we got very wet feet but we managed to fed them, there weren’t many about as you can imagine but we did see a few

So we thought we had better go home it was getting very dark then we saw this fantastic rainbow

What an incredible sight...those rivulets streaming down the hills. You are very dedicated going up there in that weather. I bet you were glad to get home safely! Thank you for taking the photos though...amazing!

A swollen river like that can be very frightening. The sight and sound of the rushing water is unnerving and eerie ...
I'm glad you got home safely !

I'm sure the birds are very grateful. I've been watching the trees in the woods behind me, swaying in the high winds and I've often wondered where the birds go to for shelter.
