On to Landacre Bridge

On the way we saw this beautifull Heather

Promised my self i would give Lynmouth and Lynton a vist this year not been for some time.I was on holiday not far from there in 1952 when they had the flood.I remember seeing bales straw in the trees above our heads as we were traveling back to Bristol and could not grasp how they got there.

It is a beautiful area in that part of Devon....I have only visited Lynmouth/Lynton once when we were holidaying in 1973 in the UK (before emigrating here). I remember we stayed in a small inn called "The Rising Sun"...

Your photos are wonderful...felt like I'd been on the day out with you :)

I like Lynton & Lynmouth too ... not so keen on the water-powered cliff railway ... I had to look up when we went down to the bottom ... no head for heights! Such a lovely part of the UK ... pleased you enjoyed the day. : o )
