I’ve just spent all this morning trying to get some ivy thats taken root round a standard rose in a very large pot. it looked quite nice afew years ago, but it was starting to look untidy, but it was hard getting all the roots out, but i think i’ve got them all i hope.

It's difficult trying to separate the roots of two plants when they've become tangled together. I was trying to separate a campanula from a very large and stubborn grass a few days ago. It took ages, and I still don't know if all the grass is out. Hope yous rose does well now.

not an easy job clarice, hope you have it all out now. its amazing how it clings on to almost anything
