Went to carboot this morning all i spent was 50p on this

Then i got home cut my grass, pulled some plants out that looked had gone horrible and but some pansies in that i got from up town on friday, when i took the old bedding out it had killed abit of the grass, but it should grow back now.

Took some of my hanging baskets down, and put a few more feeders up ready for winter

Then went inside to make my tea turned round to find next door but 1 cat sat looking up at feeders, by the way his name is tinker,it really suits him.

Lovely blog Clarice and what a bargain, I have to pay more than that just to get in to our local car boot. It seems like you've had a very enjoyable sort of day. I love planting bedding and tidying around.

You remember Donna who dug those flag lillies out for you he belongs to her, she also if you remember had Ging who was sat on the fence.

Ian i have a free bus pass, so ok with that, but the plant was only 50p ithink because it is so small, but a bit of tlc will see it right.

You,ve had a nice day Carol , is the plant a pieris or a Hebe ? I,m not sure !
Your garden looks very neat and tidy , the birds are in for a treat as well .... :o)

It a Pieris Amy, the birds are always getting treets all year, just in winter they get alot more. Mind you they do have Tinker to watch aswell, as for Smokey they just carry on feeding while he's there.

Your Smokey is like my Marmy Carol , to old to be bothered with birds especially when they have meals delivered on a plate .. :o)

Tinker is lovely . Is he friendly to Smokey ?

I think you got a bargain there Clarice, lovely to watch it grow. It seems a shame to take the bedding out so early but as the rain has spoilt it this year it does get a bit untidy. Pansies should get going well before winter though. Cats and birds don't go together do they? I just brought Daisy in as the baby blackbirds have just left the nest today and the parents are going mental. They must be in the borders somewhere, I hate it when they haven't yet learnt to fly.

Everyone loves a barg Clarice!!
Tinker is beautifully marked...is there a name for a cat that colour?

The bird feeders look good too...reminded me to replace my old plastic ones ready for the winter.

Fluff dont know if theres a name for a cat that colour, but it matches his personalty, he's always getting in to trouble for something. Hywel he's not to bad with Smokey,he sometimes wonts Smokey to play, there is another cat where he lives called Ginger, but again he is about 14yrs, so does'nt really wont to play, but Tinker being a Tinker he does wind Ginger up alot, but he takes so much them turns on him, not that Tinker gets the message.

Clarice I wish I could get such bargain plants, and so healthy looking too.
Your garden looks lovely and is a credit to you. By the way thanks for the blog it gave us a laugh. You should offer to write for some of these unfunny 'comedians.

lol. Young cats are very playful :o)

By the way Clarice if you don't want Tinker to make his way up the post to the birds at the feeders just put an old CD at the bottom of the pole. It won't hurt him, jsut deter him. I used this on our front garden to stop cats using it as a loo.
