Dont know where he as come from, but he as been coming in my house since Saturday, he’s only a young cat i’d say about Tilly & Jack’s age, he is also going in my friends house who lives next door but one, he must belong to someone as he as a new flea collar plus another new collar on the top of it. I took him to my vets for them to scan him but he as not been microchipped, so dont know if he is lost or what, but inbetween he as been called Snowball.

Hi Clarice..

Snowball is cute... seems he is one of these cats which likes to visit several houses ...

...and he heard that your home is Paradise for Cats ..Lol. ... Tilly and Jack told him what a wonderful life they have with you... :o)

Nice one TT, he is so friendly and loving cannot help but like him, think aswell with him only being young he plays with Tilly & Jack, what with him being here and my friends he's getting well fed.LOL

13 Dec, 2011

Lol.
Eating all that free food, he'll soon be round and chubby like a snowball... :o)

13 Dec, 2011

Oh Carol I hope he isn't lost. Someone might be frantically looking for him.
He's very pretty though.
Mind you a black cat comes in here when Blodyn isn't looking. He's huge, and very fluffy. He isn't afraid of me ... stares me in the eye lol - One of the workers doing the new gas fire told me I had two beautiful cats :o)

13 Dec, 2011

Lol. Hywel ...
Is the black cat Blodyn's secret boyfriend ? ;o)

13 Dec, 2011

Maybe she's got a secret admirer lol

13 Dec, 2011

Hywel i'm hoping he is not lost either, who ever he belongs to he as been newtered so you would think they would have had him chipped at same time. TT if the black cats Blodyn's boyfriend, tilly's doing well with two boys :)))LOL

13 Dec, 2011

You never know, black cats are suppose to be lucky are'nt they.

13 Dec, 2011

Oh I hope so Carol :o) lol

Maybe Snowball is just exploring his new territory - hopefully, and if he knows there's food to be had, he will keep coming back :o) Cats are good at that lol

13 Dec, 2011

That is one beautiful cat!
You could post a pic of him around the area, see if anyone comes forward?

13 Dec, 2011

Feel sorry for him as when my door is closed he cannot get in as he needs a magnet on his collar, and he just sits with his face at the flap, i think you are more than likely right like you say where there's food they will keep coming back, he's been this morning trying to get in but with it being so windy and raining i've got my back door shut, but he's just sat there, but just thought i'd see if he goes back home, but he's been here for last 2-3hrs now.

13 Dec, 2011

Think me and my friend when she gets home from work are going in local shops to put photo up him. think who ever he belongs to need to keep him indoors til he gets use to where he lives.

13 Dec, 2011

carol snowball is beautifull, your doing the right things so hopefull someone will come forward, maybe they have let the cat out to soon after a move or something, looks in lovely condition to, good luck and let us know the outcome :o)) x

Let's hope the story has a happy ending, wherever Snowball ends up living ...

13 Dec, 2011

Think he will because i for one have already took to him and Donna i think she is taking to him aswell, she as two cats aswell, so what ever happens there will certainly be a happy ending for him where ever he lives.

Oh he's gorgeous Clarice, obviously knows were the best cat restaurant is,lol ;-)

13 Dec, 2011

When I was very young, we had a siamese cat called Ming, and he was an opportunist. He started to come home smelling of the most gorgeous, expensive perfume, and had obviously been fed very generously by someone else. Eventually we found out that he'd been visiting the rich widow up the road who thought that he was HER cat. He had "appeared numerous times at her door, looking lost and starving and miaowing piteously" so she'd taken him in and fed him salmon and roast chicken, 'cos she thought he'd been abandoned. Cats are good at tricking people, and I think they are totally aware of what they are doing. It took us a long time to get him back to a healthy weight again.
I do hope you find Snowball's owner, Clarice. He's beautiful, though.

13 Dec, 2011

Thats good as I thought you had lost him.- He may be new to his owners and got lost the first time he was let out? Have you let the local vet know? as that is the first place I rang when my cat went missing.

13 Dec, 2011

He is beautiful is'nt he, my friend as just got home from work so i'm going to get a butty and both of us are going round with leaflets, see you all in abit...

Good luck finding his Mum, he looks so healthy, I'm sure he's loved and cared for...
Just enjoy him, he may end up a regular visitor....:)))

13 Dec, 2011

Aw he is beautiful!

13 Dec, 2011

Lovely little puss, hope you can find where hes come from. Ive adopted a couple of cats over the years who seemed to have got lost.....

13 Dec, 2011

that's nice Clarice - he knows he'll get good care with you :))))))))

13 Dec, 2011

Is he deaf? Because most white cats are, for some reason...

13 Dec, 2011

What a beautiful cat, I can see why you've taken to him. I think you're right to put up notices as his owners must be so worried especially in this awful weather. I'm a soft touch too where cats are concerned but fortunately so far I haven't been "adopted" by one, only a rabbit who hopped into our garden and stayed! Another rabbit who came visiting was reunited with it's owner by putting up posters.

Dominant white (more properly "epistatic white" since it occurs on a different gene to the black-based or red-based colours) denoted by the gene symbol "W", is the colour associated with deafness in cats. Dominant white masks all other colours and cats may have blue, orange or odd eyes. Those with blue eyes have a high chance of deafness. Those with one blue eye have a high chance of deafness on the blue-eyed side. Those with orange eyes are far less likely to be deaf. Some dominant white kittens are born with smudges of coloured fur on top of the head where the colour is incompletely masked, this smudge of colour usually disappears by adulthood, but kittens with colour smudges are more likely to have normal hearing. These cats are not albinos; genetically they can be any colour, but the white is dominant to those other colours (albinism is an absence of other colours).
found this Denise it may explain some of why they are deaf...

13 Dec, 2011

Yes, that's true Bamboo, but almost always only the blue-eyed white ones, but strangely, not the "siamese" types (i.e. long faces and lean bodies) like this one, so he should be OK.

13 Dec, 2011

cats like this shouldnt be out in sun either as can get cancer really easierly, like my angelina before we got her, very fare skin and prone to cancer, should have sun cream on bare skin at all times if out.

13 Dec, 2011

He is one lovely cat Clarice his owner must be so worried , will you keep him if he is not claimed?

13 Dec, 2011

I'm sure he must belong to someone. Its difficult I know....but please do not feed him....he will not go to his legit. home if other people are feeding him all day long. Perhaps his owners are at work during the day......

13 Dec, 2011

Snowball is a lovely name for him Carol, he is a very attractive cat and looks healthy, he is onto a good thing being fed by you and your neighbour your very kind, do hope his owner finds him though , they may be very worried about him.

13 Dec, 2011

I agree with everything Pp has said ... isn't it strane for the cat to be wearing two collars though!

Lol, my computer is playing up again ... keeps either not submitting ... or doubling things up!!

I agree with everything Pp has said ... and isn't it strange for the cat to be wearing two collars? ... I hope he gets re-united with his owners soon ... :o)

Just thought i'd let you know Snowball was here quite abit yesterday and last night, but hopefully his owners have seen the leaflets and his photo in the local shops, as today have not seen him at all, so just hoping they are keeping him in for a while, and then he may realize thats his home, Sandra he was not deaf, he could here just aswell as my two, and he had a loud meow.
Know it may sound silly as i wonted to find his owners, but now i'm worried about him again as not a clue as to if he is ok or not, both me and Donna put our phone numbers on the leaflets, but we've not heard anything at all. i really hope he is safe.

14 Dec, 2011

We had the same thing happen this summer Clarice a lovely Tabby who's been calling for a couple of years now, think he comes to see Symba:-), I've never fed him till early this summer when he looked so thin, big mistake twice a day he was at the window wanting food :-), now the weathers colder he's not been around, but didn't see him all last winter either, sure he's got a home and he'll probably appear again when the weather gets warmer, hope Snowballs found his way home :-)
I've never heard that before Sanbaz, learn something new on here every day :-), our Symba has blue eyes he's certainly not deaf either can hear the tin opener from the other end of the house :-)

14 Dec, 2011

He's a beauty Clarice, I do hope someone comes forward soon, if he was mine i'd be going out my mind with worry, my Stripes went missing when we moved in but I got him back after 3 weeks after long seaching everyday, I put posters up every were I could think of.
Good Luck ....

14 Dec, 2011

found the info on the net about cats, i guess its if they do have that gene, white being the dominant colour, our angelina was white and most defernatly deaf.

15 Dec, 2011

Jack as alot of white he definatly is not deaf, i have to put sun cream on him aswell, still no sign of Snowball so fingers crossed he's ok,

16 Dec, 2011
