Spending Spree !

I am quite excited and have to share. I have just bought with my Christmas Vouchers a little Prunus tree and a Climbing Rose. I am glad that I didnt use the vouchers to buy mundane things like compost, as now I have something that I hope will give me pleasure for a few years. The quality of these photos is not good but it will give you some idea of what they are like.

Well I knew that one day I would see just the thing. The weather stopped me from going out to spend the vouchers before, and like you I am in my early 70's so dont go out unless I need to. Thanks Mad

I have that Prunus - I had one in my previous garden, and it gave me such pleasure that I HAD to plant one here. You've got that to come - AND a lovely rose, too! :-)))

Thanks Spritz, I am really looking forward to it. I have been out today looking at Helebores. I know you have a lot too, Any you can recommend ? I like the look of the doubles, but didnt see any today, and I expect they are expensive arent they. I am just getting into them having got just one at the moment. Sylvia
