Thank you Kokkinotria (what a fab name).

Sbg thank you also. This is a lovely rose, though this is not the best example of it. Will show some more in a while.

Thanks Brian. Seems to be a lot of blue in the garden at the moment.

What scrumptious mouthwatering colours! I'm a sucker for blue as well but that lemon snapdragon is very pretty.

So much going on! Love it...great sunshine too. What is the shrub please, behind the Euphorbia?

30 May, 2014

Hi Karen, thank you. The shrub is just a common privet, which I have to keep pruned hard. It was just a little cutting given to me years ago, and there was a lovely orange honeysuckle there as well, but it didn't like my type of hard pruning and I have lost most of it this year, but there is still some surviving.

Lovely colours in your garden Cinders ... I gave up growing Lupins a few years ago ... they would get covered in grey aphids :o(

Oh yes, did you ever get Dianthus 'Doris' at all?

7 Jun, 2014

Thanks Shirley, I only have this one Lupin, which is about three years old now, and this is the best it has ever been. My problem is snails eating the buds before they can flower, but I beat them to it this year somehow, although the leaves are decimated now.

No I never did get 'Doris', but one day I will. Haven't got a lot of room now, unless I get rid of something else. Hope you enjoyed your break.

Cinders - don't mention snails to me! Never seen so many in my garden, little so-and-so's climbing up the stems of everything, hiding on the fence too ... grr! We had a lovely restful time, just enjoyed the change of pace really! :o)
