Me neither! Absolutely lovely and really loved garden! :D

no one deserved to win better than you, your garden is breathtaking, well done Cinders,xx

Its not boring to me either Cinders, even more enjoyable on a miserable day like today, I am however very envious of your fabulous Heuchera`s, I only have three and they don`t look half as good as yours, in fact I have put one back into a pot as it definitely does not seem happy in the garden...
Yours pics are lovely...

Beautiful Cinders:)

31 Jul, 2012

Thanks for that TT.
Karen, I really do love it. But I am always slightly afraid people will get fed up of looking at it.
Yorks thanks you, I know you like it, and Lincs I am so pleased you like it too. The Heucheras do seem to do well once they have recovered from the winter wet. Mine seem to do better in the garden, but I do have a few in pots as well.

Thanks Nana.

I agree with Nana d - Beautiful Cinders!

Thank you Petal, appreciated

No wonder you won the best garden prize. The attention to detail and use of space and choice of plants is so clever. Gosh....I sound like a judge. My OH is doing a jigsaw of our garden at the moment on the computer. He is struggling with the messy bit of bluebells and aubrietia all mixed up together. He will finish it.

so beautiful Cinders - full of interest in every part of your garden - incredible work has gone into it

31 Jul, 2012

So so pretty Cinders, you have loads of colour still, I love your pots too.

31 Jul, 2012

I feel exactly the same about possibly boring people with mine Cinders....but hey, at the end of the day, if people are bored, they don't have to look....:D

31 Jul, 2012

Thanks Dorjac. I don't mind if you sound like a judge !

Thank you Paul, nearly as good as yours !!

Thanks Grandmage, we have had a lot of rain today, and my poor phlox are bowed right over.

How could anyone get bored looking at your beautiful garden, so much colour and a fantastic array of plants and flowers, love the two Clematis blue and maroonmingling together and I envy your lovely Heuchers, which one is the deep rosy pink one picture four from the last, its gorgeous? Thanks so much for the tour I have really enjoyed it;0)

31 Jul, 2012

My goodness me, such colour..... what are feeding ?
Bored ? Never !

31 Jul, 2012

Hi Carole, glad you enjoyed the tour. The clematis are Perle de Azure and Rouge Cardinale, and the deep pink Heuchera is Berry Smoothie.

Thanks Val, I don't feed very often, then just throw some granules around.

Absolutely wonderful - and not one empty pot in sight!!

31 Jul, 2012

No empty ones Sheila, I need another large pot actually, will have to go shopping !! There's no room left in the garden.

31 Jul, 2012

Lol ;-))

You have a lovely garden C.

31 Jul, 2012

Thanks Drc and Homebird. I am quite pleased with it.

31 Jul, 2012

Your garden is brimming with colour and looks fabulous. You must have put in a huge amount of work to achieve such results.

31 Jul, 2012

Thank you Tuesday. My garden really has evolved over a few years, and it is planted so that I don't have to do a lot to it now. Most things look after themselves in that they come up every year. I just have to tidy them up and trim etc.

31 Jul, 2012

Mine is supposed to be like that but somehow I still have to spend an awful long time on it - not that I mind. I love being in the garden.

31 Jul, 2012

Marvelous!!! Boredom - no......very pleasurable to look around. Thanks for sharing :)

31 Jul, 2012

Blooming lovey Cinders, it puts to shame a village garden we visited (not NGS) which was full of weeds, about the same size of yours, yours looks so pretty and well loved and nurtured, a real credit to you.

31 Jul, 2012

Beautiful! Love all your Heucheras - don't the bright green ones light up a space! Also love the different clematis intertwining. Well done! :o)

Thank you Scottish, glad you enjoyed it/

DD. Surprised those people bother to open if they don't look after it. Thank you.

Nariz, thanks. The light green heuchera are definitely needed amongst the others I think, they are like beacons shining out.

I would never tire of seeing your garden,Cinders..and it was right for you to win first prize..You have such a lot of lush growth too, after all the rain..so it isn't always bad ,after all..only for us ! :o)

1 Aug, 2012

Sandra, I suppose its because I am with it all the time I don't see it as others do. Thank you for your lovely comments. Yours is ok now isnt it.

1 Aug, 2012

Mine is fine,Cinders..thank you..that all too brief spell of summer helped a lot..and all my fuschias are looking good now..with Ballet Girl ,getting the Gold ..but Pink Galore and Hollies Beauty are in the running with Gary Rhodes for silver and bronze..it's going to be close ! Lol.

1 Aug, 2012

I had a Fuchsia called Holly's Beauty sent to me last year, only when it flowered it wasnt Holly, as that is pale pink, and this one is red and purple, so another case of wrongly labelled I think. I know it should have been pink as I had one before and have also seen pictures of it. Anyway its a nice fuchsia.

1 Aug, 2012

Holly's Beauty has pale pink sepals, and more of a pale lilac Corolla,Cinders.so I don't know what yours is..although there are quite a few similar Fuchsias with red and purple, aren't there ? I will post a pic of mine shortly..

This is going on to my Favourites, Cinders ... you really have planted it up so well ... and I love all the different areas ... congratulations on winning the cup this year ... well done you! .. :o)))

4 Aug, 2012

Thank you for that Shirley, lots of it is the same as last year, with a few different pots, but the clematis have been outstanding this year.

4 Aug, 2012

What a fantastic view from your back door Cinders, in fact all of your garden is fantastic. Your clematis look like a giant bouquet....... no wonder you won!!!:-))))

5 Aug, 2012

Many thanks Ba. There are so many blooms on the Perle de Azure clematis it is getting top heavy now and falling forward. You are right it is like a large bouquet.

Hello Kidsgran, I am pleased you like my garden. It has evolved over the years, and when I look at it again now I can't believe it was so colourful last year. Thank you for appreciating it. I hope it will look good again this year once everything warms up a bit.
