Shirleys Fresh Fruit Cake

I have just made the cake that Shirley-tulip gave us the recipe for, using fresh plums. Thought I would show a picture to prove that I did it. Just out from the oven looks and smells delicious. Thanks Shirley, I have a feeling this will go down well.

My intention is to cut it in half and freeze half for another day……… we will see if that happens …..mmmm…….

Well done, Cinders, it's looking better in a square tin than the round one my OH used ! Needless to say, our cake has already been eaten by ourselves and my Mum ! Yesterday I made an apple & redcurrant crumble, far too tart for my taste but others enjoyed it.
