Hi, I'm Cher. I live in the Welsh Valleys - on the side of a mountain - and I love it!!

My house is a mid-terrace miners cottage and my garden is very steep. There are twelve very steep narrow steps up to it. At some time in the past it has been terraced but is now horrendously overgrown.

My question is that I would like to get a working party of friends to come and clear the garden, so when is the best time to do it?

The garden is overgrown with brambles, ivy, sticky stuff, ferns and nettles. But there are underlying terraces and beautiful shrubs - I think....

Can you tell I'm not very good at this??? :)

Any advice would be very welcomed,

Oh - and one last (important) point..... I have no back access to the property, so everything would have to come through the house.... :(
