So, this is where my gardening blog starts. I am a 30 year old designer from Scotland, and last year moved into my own place with a small garden. When I moved in, there was nothing there other than a patio, a large expanse of lawn and a shed. I moved in December, so the perfect time for gardening was just around the corner – HOWEVER – I knew next to nothing about gardending, so was clueless on how to even start a garden, which tools to get, how to grow plants etc. Until then I had always considered myself to have ‘black thumbs’ – every houseplant I had previously touched (or not touched enough, as it turns out) had died within months, even the ‘indestructible’ spider plant. But gradually I bought some books and tools and started to make my plain jane garden into what I wanted it to be. This blog is a record of my achievements as well as showing what else I want to do in the garden…I hope you will enjoy reading it, and watching my garden grow.
