Springtime

The spring is truly a beautiful season. Everywhere I look there are hosts of daffodils. In my and other people’s gardens, in beds in the village and wild daffs on the grass verges where we drive round here. Cherry blossom on the trees, bluebells and primroses in flower,
trees showing their new leaf and bluetits nesting in our laurel hedges in the back garden where we can watch them from our armchairs. Wonderful.

You're right Casso, this is a beautiful time of year, with lots of new flowers showing their heads and all the greenery fresh and new as well. I prefer the months of March to end of May better than any other in the year, becaue by August time everything has got dusty looking and dry.

Thank you for your comments. There is so much misery in the world at the moment, it did me good to think about the Spring and what it brings.

Isn't it nice to see all the spring flowers. it's a lovely season, and even better this year after the terrible winter we had :o))

I too am enjoying seeing everything burst into life with colour, abundance and beauty. I've been observing a tree that grows on the boulevard across from us and I've been amazed at the rate of growth. In a week it has gone from almost bare branches to full leaf cover and the pigeons are already nest building in it's branches.
