Making a splash!

Hi all, as you can see from the photos the electrician finally arrived and we have power in the garden. Hubby bought a half-price pump in the sales for £79 and anchored it in the pond with four large stones which look rather nice and add some depth to the water. The fountain is huge! I think it’s probably too much for our small garden but the novelty hasn’t worn off yet. When it does you can shorten the pipe or use alternate heads which aren’t quite so spectacular.
The lights on the waterfall have inter-changeable coloured filters in yellow, green, pink and blue but I prefer the blue. It looks a bit like runway one at Heathrow when it goes dark in the garden!
Trying to decide where to put the third piece of waterfall now – hubby thinks it should be incorporated with the other two instead of opposite which was the original plan.

Wow! That really has the Wow factor. It looks great and you should be very proud of it. So the pump runs the fountain AND the waterfall, it must be quite a powerful one.As for the third part of the waterfall, I like it where it is as it will also serve as a good birdbath as they may be afraid to try to drink from the pond itself. Well done. You probably find it hard to tear yourself away from it. Hope your kitchen window looks out at it.
