About me

I garden half an acre in Aberdeenshire, soft, peaty soil which once was a field, so ground elder, nettle, thistle, creeping buttercup and every annual weed imaginable takes root here! We've lived here for 20 years now and the garden still isn't 'done'.....it never will be!

I grow lavender, sage, thymes, mints, bronze fennel, herbs with culinary and medicinal uses ( I used to be an aromatherapy tutor, for my sins! ) and have a weakness for anything with a 'history' and have a small knot garden of box which is lovely but time consuming to keep tidy.
