I love this idea!!! What is the patch that it's sitting on? Looks as if you could still take it for a spin :)

Do you guys have an Erik's Deli where you are? They are popular around here and your yard decor reminds me of how they have their walls decorated.

I was thinking brick as well . I've seen brick borders, buried at an angle, with the corner pointing upward. It's a very attractive look. I've seen this used in straight lines. Would probably work in a cirlce as well. But, like Mike says white. That would compliment your statue well and it would be easier to install :)

I like the rustic look of the old tools and I like the terra cotta pots flowing onto the ground :)

Thanks Wyeboy I just learned something about my hostas!!! I have been wanting them to be larger and stronger so will try trimming the stalks when they appear!!

I do love the flowers tho but will sacrifice some beauty in the front yard this year for better plants next year!!

Thanks again

My daughter is always moaning that I still have my old bicycle but never use it. I am loathed to part with it because it was a special present from my grandfather. I love the idea of turning it into a planter :-)
Thank you for the inspiration!

I have an old iron garden fork that belonged to my Great-Grandfather, and lots of plants that were my Grandmother's. It's nice to keep thing like this.

I've got one about the same size that I planted last year. All I know is that they like regular feeding during the summer. I read a recommendation that they are fed weekly, but I didn't manage to feed so often myself. I used rose feed or general pur[pose flowering plant feed.
