Usually after flowering is the best time,it encourages new growth and helps to keep shrub tidy

I googled "help my fushcia leaves are curling" and had a shock!!! Apparently,a microscopic mite has infested fushcias on the continent, and in 2007 it was found in guernsey, and then in Kent and it has to be reported to Defra,so they can see how far it has spread..you have to collect all infected parts wearing rubber gloves, put in plastic bag and destroy.I hope i,m wrong, but I cannot see anything on the shrub except distorted leaves.

Thanks for all answers.
no weedkiller and it is,nt in the full sun and ,yes it is all over, but only on the first few inches of each branch and I think what I will do , is what Marguarite suggested and take sample to a nursery.
Thanks everybody

It is only the end of the leaves that are curling,I plucked a section off to examine it, but there is nothing there,no bugs no greenfly or blackfly, nothing, thanks anyway,it is usually a picture at this time of the year

Hi,
maybe able to help,we had a 24ft poly tunnel in our elderly neighbours garden, this lady has now passed away, and our house is up for sale, you obviously would have to collect. £25 O.N.O also it needs replacement plastic.

my sister lives in Queensland ( near Caboolture) and when we went to visit she showed me a cane toad and they are disgusting!! the one I saw was HUGE.
Didn,t they introduce them to get rid of a pest on cereal crops but cos the toads cannot jump they couldn,t reach, or something like that.

I find that using bits of broken dry twigs, and narrow branches, doesnt cut out the light but makes it more difficult for the cat to get in

the pods should be left till they are brown, then tap them into a paper bag.if you want to increase where they are, just tap them and let them self-seed

I don,t think this is a Natterjack Toad, cos they have a yellow stripe down there back, maybe this is an extra large common toad, but he is a handsome fellow

It is an Epiphyllum or orchid cactus.Absolutely gorgeous flowers ,but it will definitely NOT survive a winter outside.
You can take sections of leaf and push them into potting compost, they will root by next Spring cos if you leave it outside, one slight frost will turn it into mush.

I,m sure it is called Dracunculus,if it has an unpleasant smell, then it is!!

I would not like to even attempt to move Bamboos.
We had to do that a few years ago.and it took two men two days, with a pick and a chainsaw!!
Mine would have been over two metres circumference, but it had died after "flowering" so had to be moved.
