A day at the Zoo.

Yesterday we took the kiddo’s to Bristol Zoo. A great sacrifice on my part as I do not like seeing animals in confined in any way, although I really do admire the wonderful conservation work they do. However, it was a real treat to see the Lemurs, and James, aged nearly 3 was visibly curling and unclurling his fingers in his desire, to grab this little fellows thick fur, and secretly, so were mine. However, his Dad restrained him. The little Lemur was sitting on the wall just inches away from us and looked soooooooooo appealing. And the other thing is I AM NEVER GOING AGAIN. MY LEGS ARE ON FIRE WITH ACHES AND PAINS CAUSED BY WEARING UNUASALLY – FOR ME – FLAT SHOES. Now, where’s that painkilling cream….

Those are lovely! I wish I could wear high heels - my feet are too wide and I can't find any 4Es that aren't fat and frumpy. If you change your heel heights during the day it will prevent your calf muscles shortening!

Hi Sterra and Lincslass, Thank you both for your comments. I don't wear really high heels, just a two and a half inch heel usually, and yes, I should have thought to take another pair along, but there you are, so now I suffer. And, yes Lincs. you are no doubt right about that, so I could have a nasty bite as well as aching legs.

P.S. sorry, I couldn't get , my head around spelling UNUSUALLY as I was concentrating on my aches. Yeh, what a wimp!!!!
