View from the old patio.
The fence panel will be replaced and to add height, trellis will be attached to the top of all the fencing
All the planting will come out including the large Hazel tree and the grass.

I wasnt going to, do ya think I should?, I grew them from seed they're called 'Giants' and they were !

Oh I would they are beautiful. If they wont work in that area I'm sure you could find space somewhere else :)

The Delphs further down, which I had to cut down to get the Phlox out, were as tall as the fence because they got more sun :)

It certainly needs some light letting in though! Those delphs are a lovely colour. I don't grow them myself but I can see why you might keep them! :D

Oh yes keep them if you can, they are gorgeous, mine are in the wrong place completely so after they finish flowering mine need rehoming as well.
I`m playing catchup Boo so am looking forward to following your garden as you make progress...
