Hi Everyone: On several occasions I have tried to overwinter a Tibouchina to no avail. I have left it outside covered, brought it in to a cool area in the house, left it in an unheated greenhouse, done everything I can think of to keep it alive except taking it to bed with me. I think our climate is pretty much the same as in the UK – any suggestions. Thanks

These plants live in warmer climes - I saw them for sale at a Nursery in the Canary Islands! I don't think you have been keeping it warm enough. It would die at under about 7 degrees. It certainly wouldn't survive outside during the winter, nor in an unheated greenhouse. Maybe your bed would suit it better!!! lol.
