Looks like someone has been having fun and I don't just mean Thomas. Freya always eats the Peppa Pig rice paper before they ever get onto the buns. Thomas will be wanting to bake every time he visits from now on.

Ah!!! Just look at that happy smiling face, he looks so proud of his handiwork and quite rightly so from what I can see.
Well done Thomas you are a good boy and I'm sure Santa will have noticed, I hope you gets lots of treats and have a wonderful Christmas....
I used to love cooking days with my grandchildren Sandra and have to admit I miss them, we still have smashing times but now at 17 and 14yrs old its a case of nannie having to experience some very weird and wonderful fantasy games and films that they are both into, a lot of mickey taking on their part as often I can't tell which one is the villain and as regards the games I'm useless but we do have a laugh and at least they still like my company, lol......
Merry Christmas Thomas and of course nan and grandad...

Well done indeed - such neat buns and not a speck of flour or butter on either of you. However do you do it?

On behalf of Thomas, thank you everyone for your Christmas greetings....We had a lovely day.with a visit to Santa's Grotto in town this afternoon..most of the cakes are gone,as they were meant as a surprise for his Mummy, after a long hard day at work today..We did manage a few between us beforehand :o)
and Hywel,Paul Hollywood is a baker on TV,who does programmes with Mary Berry..I know you don't watch programmes like that..I'm a bit whacked tonight, but moments like these, are too precious to miss...How they didn't all slip off the cooling tray, whilst having his photo taken,I will never know! Lol .......just seen your comment Stera...Grandad was following us round ,clearing up,and sweeping the floor ! :o)

23 Dec, 2014

He did well for his first attempt at our house,H.bird..although he has made a few when he was at Nursery..He refrained from eating the mixture, but I took a photo of him licking the bowl out :o)I remember seeing photos of yours, baking with you..Pink isn't his colour, but we do have some blue..I haven't let him loose on that yet :o)

That makes two of us on the clumsy side Sandra. I think you and I would be like Laural and Hardy if we ever got together, LOL! I'd like to make that orange cake with you; the one you sent me the recipe for. Then we can invite some GoY friends to join us. Do you drive Sandra? How awesome would it be to tour the English Countryside??

Laurel and Hardy? That conjures up a sight to be seen..I hope you are the one with the Bowler Hat ! Lol..I drove for a very short time,Paul, but I hated it..but I'm good at driving Russell round the bend..so he says ! :o)
