for those of you who saw my blog and photo,of the Wallaby on the loose,in a nearby village,I ’m glad to say he is safely back home in his compound..He is not much worse for wear,as a result, just a sore foot..
His name,by the way is "Our Betty " lol..no idea why..

He made his own way home eventually, and was spotted in a nearby field,so his owner tempted him back with some food..
The reason for going walk about, was due to the owners young grandson not locking the compound..I bet he was chastised somewhat..:o)
Anyway, all is well, and he is back with the other three..one of them being his girlfriend Kylie!. Lol.
Watch out for news of baby Wallabies at some point :o)
Ah,bless..it’s nice to have a happy ending..

Really funny for us, not often one hears of a wallaby going walkabout in our villages but its good to know he is home safe and sound.......

Thanks Everyone..I just wonder how he managed to evade being seen for over a week..he isn't exactly little,is he?
Maybe an after hours drinker ,and he got legless :o)..and Carole, remember us taking you to Brooklands garden centre near Holmfirth, where they kept Wallabies? That is where he originally came from....I would play safe with the colour of that blanket,Neellan..we don't want him to get confused.!..Lol..Anyway,he is safe and well, so as you say Hywel..a happy ending :o)

BI can certainly see the attraction of a girlfriend called Kylie....It's a wonder he ever left the compound...some blokes don't know when they're well off.
I went to the zoo yesterday and saw a strange exhibit. There was a Warburtons sliced loaf in a cage. strange ! Then I saw the sign. "bread in captivity "

I hope your Julie hasn't read that Paul ! ...no ,not the
crack about the bread, she is probably used to your daft sense of humour.poor lass Lol....anyway,maybe with a name like Betty,I'm not surprised he ran away..wouldn't you ?? Lol.They should have called him Sue..Johnny Cash
did ok with it....:o)The funny thing is,they have a Wallaby called Billy.also a male..who also went walk about,a couple of years ago...I think they both need an electronic tag :o)

Julie knows how I feel about Kylie......Miss Minogue that is.....not the wallaby!!strange, why would you name a male Betty???
I think she quite likes my jokes as they're not quite as bad as her old dad's used to be!!
