Mine to and I miss him so and hubby on a flight so he is now up in the sky with my Dad .

So I am going away hillwalking with my son keeping up my walking for my goal of walking Ben Nevis in July.

Hope everyone with a Father in their life has a great day, my boys have given homemade cards and presents of fudge to their Dad and grandads, then its a lovely roast dinner later.
i'm really liking seeing peoples faces, although I had to put my glasses on to see your avatar bloomer and realise it wasn't actually a person :). Might have to change my avatar too but as I take all the pictures finding one will be like hens teeth..

In my kids' case, you'd have to put, "absent" in front of that, Bloomer...but, it was better that way...life was nicer when he wasn't around... ;)

I can think about my own dad, though...he was a great dad and grandad. :)

Thanks for the sentiment, (I adored my Dad. x) we are not out today but the 'kids' will pop in to see their dad. 'Dad' is out today playing on his steam trains! That for him is the ultimate day out. Lol

They Do a Fathers day trip from the Railway Museum at Ramsbottom I think...I see the Steam trains on my delivery if I am lucky....They are like living breating beasts. I love em.

Pim, my hubb has been building his model steam train for 30 years now!!! Soon (and i use that word lightly, wont hold my breath) it will be steamed up and on the rails it is a 3.5" gauge live steam loco, Britannia.

That was my rudey dudey,response..and hope you realise it wasn't really me ! ....but a sculpture at Teignmouth,last year :o) As you will see,I am now a butterfly on an Allium..for the time being ....and Carole..he should be so lucky ! :o)) x
