On to the rest of it now,and some pretty Dahlia’s..sorry,Aalice,I thought I had taken more, but there are only two !..never mind, they are pretty, and I’m sure you will like the rest of the displays…These both got firsts..

This is called’Jomanda’

this is’Gurtla Twilight ’

Now for the Fuchsias..my favourites..

This was a novel display…another first..

I do hope I have got the right names of these..I hope someone will correct me,if I haven’t..
‘Cascade’

‘Coracle’

‘London 2000’

‘Diana,Princess of Wales’

.
I only took one pic of aPelargonium,as I would have been there till next years show! This was a Stellar type, which means nothing to me,but I liked it..very different.
‘Vectis Glitter ’

Are you still here ? good,as this was my favourite bit of the show..The Handicraft section..This years theme was ’The Allotment’( surprise A.alice! ) Each member had to do their own interpretation on a small piece of board..and the imagination and detail was brilliant..
There were three designs on each row..

and lastly,the market stall.

At this point my battery in the camera was flat, but managed to get to the end,,so a nice cuppa was the order of the day..and it was almost 4.30pm,closing time..hang on aminute, why are there lots of mad people ,running all over the place? what! they are selling everything off ? why didn’t we know this is what happens? Better get over there quick! ..too late..a few scratty bits of foliage and petals left..oh,that big cabbage and a huge swede, six foot parsnips too!!..still up for grabs..on second thoughts,I won’t bother..but just wait till next year..I will be legging it with the madding crowd ! Lol…

Great ! I love those allotments. Aren't they fantastic. Love the one with the old man in the chair. Did it get a prize do you remember. Fuchsias are pretty too.

That was quick,Sheilar! Thank you,it was a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon..:o)

I've just sat down for the night at 9.00!! (finished work at 2 pm). My daughter was admitted to hospital with suspected kidney stones. She'd been in A&E since 10.30 am and in all this time has been in agony. She was settled when we left (Morphine). So I feel really drained, have done no shopping, no washing, absolutely nothing at home, just been sat in hospital. Still, family come first.

I love those fuchsias and those very clever allotment models.

Thanks Cinders.. they were amazing..I loved that one too..Sorry ,I can't remember,if it got one..I saw so many.I was talking to the lady in charge, and she told me that they used loose tea,for soil, and pot pourri crunched up,for a compost heap ! I could have listened to her all day....

Sorry to hear about your daughter Sheila, hope she will be better soon.

Oh,Sheilar,I am so sorry to hear that, you must have been so worried, and must be worn out..Please try to get a good nights sleep out..I know you will have your daughter on your mind, but she is in good hands..Please let us know how she is,tomorrow,or when you have time..Thinking of you and your family.,take care...XXX

Thanks Sticki,everything was very nice..:o)

Thanks Bloomer and Sticki - I'll let you know how she is tomorrow. They've already done a dye test x-ray thing on her which has shown her left kidney is blocked. They've seen what looks like a 'stone' on this left left kidney so I think they going to try to dissolve it, if unsuccessful, it will be surgery. She says she's never known such agony. (Mind she's a staff nurse herself and they say nurses make the worst patients!)

Poor girl..trouble is,they know what it's all about, don't they.? .when they are in the profession..keep positive, and lets hope its dissolvable..x

Thank you 6d..I can't believe it's the first time I've been,in all the years its been going..but they moved the venue last year,as our local park was being done up,and improved,so it was somewhere different to go..glad we did..

So pleased you got to go funny how things are on our door steps yet we take for granted and dont explore, I live right by the canal with a nature walk at the rear, yet seldom go now nor did I before I could walk, its great to go some where different perhaps you ll go in future. :o)))

What beauties those dalhias are and the fuschias, but I really love the models just exquisite. I collect dolls house furniture, my hubb. made my two houses, one being a store which sells everything, so I could see how much effort had gone into those models, superb.

Lovely blog, Sandra, I'm very taken with the Fuchsia 'London 2000' ... might look out for that one ... the time & patience gone into the allotments is fantastic ... so much detail in the market stall ... each time I view the pics I find something I missed the first time! ... Thanks for sharing this ... :o)))

Thanks Shirley,No one has corrected me on the names of the Fuchsias yet,so I think I got the names in the right places..That is a pretty one,I agree..I am the same, and keep looking at the models too..I have never seen any as detailed as this..just amazing..:o))

I can imagine B. the world in minature is facinating, i always liked model villages when I was small as we would often go to one whilst on hols, so maybe thats where my love of things small & minature started!
