Thanks Libet..I think a lot of us have been buying our plants from this Supermarket..and they are much better looked after,than some other places too..

I blame the supermarket trolley's myself, they wobble over to the plants and then they get stuck!! Lovely plants B. great value. I think you were very good to share your cake, (I wouldnt have!!!) he he. :~)

i think they have magnetised the trolleys so the plants cant help themselves they just succumb to the irresistable pull!!

Sticki..they even had a till outside,in the plant area,which I have never seen before..and I'm sure the cashier had a magnet attached to it.!.Lol

thank you,Clarice,it is good old Morrison's..they have had some great plants this year.I don't know if all their stores are doing it..this is quite a big one..They were really busy,and such a good idea,to be able to pay outside,as it keeps the queues down too,inside the shop..

i shall have a look round here ~ they only had a small shelf area a few weeks ago ~ inside.

Bloomer, I would share really, honest!! Well I would think about it! Our Morries have got some great plants, it is only a small branch but their plant section is wonderful. I purchased my geraniums there last week 12 for £3. and they are corkers.

i hope your plants are ok while away sandra, maybe it will rain by then, will a neighbour water them for you?

Sandra like me you have commited one of the deadly Sins "Temptation" but I am going to the GC on Wednesday just need compost and maybe I just might stray a little, just a couple of plants to grow up the obilisk Harry made me, and a few for the my giant Pot wihch I have moved to a more prominent place, and I dont think I better go on holiday as my plants will not survive without me for a full 7 days lol

We can't resist can we ? I should have waited till I came back,really..the mind is weak ! Lol..I think we should take a very long hose pipe with us on holiday..:o)).I might be cheeky,and ask one of my younger neighbours..a mere young thing in her sixties..Lol..to pop round ,or take some of them round to her house,as don't really want to risk planting the Dahlias yet.She is very good,and a keen gardener..so I might be in luck..I have another two weeks yet,so will wait a bit,and see what the forecast is..just you see,it will be pouring down,when I want to plant the other things out.!

Yes, Im going to plant all my seedling plants out the week before we go, either they will die of cold or lack of water or the Slugs will eat them all upm, think I will have to cancel the holiday lol

You can still go,Carole..I'm sure Harry would forego the holiday,to look after them for you..Sorry we wouldn't be able to take him out for lunch..we won't be here either ! Lol...Sorry,Harry,you are needed at home :o)

With Harry looking after them, they are certainly doomed lol

You really did well with your bargains, Bloomer. I am resisting buying anything more until our garden is ready to be planted up with the borders installed...watering all my pots that are waiting with plants in them to get into the borders and they never seem to do as well as in the ground.

I hope we get some rain for you before you go away so you will find everything thriving on your return :)

I think we are all waiting for a good shower,at least..it's getting very wearing, watering every day.....and every bowl of washing up water,for each shrub in its turn..Lol..but nothing has wilted yet..

The Photinia will soon be growing up into a big fat Red Robin! I think you need to change your choice of supermarket, you obviously can't be trusted to walk past the plants . . . . .

Nope,Shirley..!Lol...just like you,my dear..That's good to know about the Aquilegia,I really like it.The others I have,were given to me ages ago,but are a bit nondescript..so will be getting rid, this year..this one has renewed my interest :o).I hope the Photinia will grow into a fat one,and it looks like I will have to stop eating..or send Russell shopping .Lol.
