As you may already know,we met with Carole.(PP) and her husband Harry,a few weeks ago,to exchange plants.Yesterday,we met again for lunch in Holmfirth, which is where the series “Last of the summer wine” was filmed. This was
an ideal place to meet,as only 20 mins drive for each of us.
We met at “Compo’s” fish and chip restaurant.

We were all looking forward to our meal,as you can see,and we weren’t disapppointed….yummy.:o)

After lunch,we walked into the village of Holmfirth,to walk it off,and enjoyed a stroll around this pretty place. This is the well known “Nora Battey’s” cafe, known as the" Wrinkled Stocking.".As you will see, there are always lots of tourists around, and this was the nearest we could get.

We all enjoyed our afternoon together, and it was lovely to get to know each other better. We already have made plans to meet again,in the near future,so
thank you,Carole and Harry, for such a lovely time, and Russell sends his love too…….
