This looks like what we call wild salvia. We see a lot of it here especially near streams, ponds, marshes etc.

Thanks for the pic, now I am not so confused. I have seen bags of this here and it is labeled pea gravel. I guess because it is the size of peas.

A lovely collection, are they common in the UK. A lot of people collect it here. We have a restaurant near us called the Blue Willow. It uses only this stuff and it is really popular. They serve Buffet lunch and afternoon tea only and are always packed. I think this is very popular crockery or is it called china?

Lovely gardens Blodyn! Not the same I know but we've had made arches over our Veggie raised beds and we're growing kidney beans up them in the hope that the kidney beans will hang down and be easy to pick. They haven't even reached the top yet but there's time yet,

Yes, it is an asparagus fern (Asparagus plumosa), they sell them with mixed tropicals over here. Love the pot, Blodyn!
