Thought a few pictures before the flowers all fall
A few have no names because my brain cannot instantly recall !

Part of the tree has to be 15 feet high

What makes you think I like Camellias further more they like me

enjoy

Lovely...can you give me some tips on growing these successfully, I have had one planted in my border for about 3 years and so far no flowers? This year I have one bud, but don`t think it`s going to come to anything. Thanks

I enjoyed them and thank you for showing them. Their names are not important when you can say 'I like what I enjoy'. Your garden never fails to fill us with hope.

Good selection ,David......was wondering how "Silver Anniversay" grew......I'm looking to buy a white one with a height of around 6 ft.Does it keep compact?

Meadowland
I have had it since 2012 bought as a pinched out rooted cutting, growing average speed for camellias about 3ft high now and we'll bushed out. Eventual height not known but they prune easy to keep in shape.
Has the same problem as all the white ones wind scorches the petals and they look a mess ,needs a really sheltered spot away from the wind.

The silver jubilee is so pretty, the boss of stamens completes the picture. Pity frosts spoil them, particularly the whites.

Sorry Brian......apologies for calling you David!.....thank you for the info ......seems to have quite a good growth rate.Always love the pureness of the white ones until the frosts intervene,

Siris & Meadowland
frost will spoil all of them but this year in particular NE winds are the problem with whites throughout the garden .

I looked at my white camellia yesterday. None of the flower buds have opened but there are plenty on it.

When I think about it mine probably open to early which is why they have so much weather damage.
Hope yours stay pristine white, or as the name of one of mine suggests = Persil white.

I love all these Camellias, Brian! :-)) I took some photos of Camellias flowering in Plymouth a few weeks ago. You can see them in a blog I posted a couple of weeks ago.
