Hanging Baskets.

Hi all, Its coming up to hanging basket filling time again. This can really be quite a stressful time, trying to fit plants in wire or any other type with Sphagnum moss in them. Compost or small plants keep trying to escape as you fill your baskets up, this then might be the answer, it has a video to help you, they are not cheap but providing they last, they could be a good buy.

Thats brilliant like the idea of the chain bit especally but how much are they to buy.

Hope you don't mind me telling you but when you place a link on check back to see how its uploaded onto the page as if like your wall hanging blog one, no one will be able to get it up, as part of the link goes on to the green part over the page, then it won't copy, so what I do is seperate the link by look towards the end of the page then click between the words or numbers and space down.

I bought 4 of these from a trade stand at Hampton Court Palace flower show many years ago. They were green and the chains were the clip-on type. They were brilliant to begin with, but, after 3 seasons the lugs on the gates became dry & brittle and broke off
so the gates became loose! Sadly, they went to the local tip. I stick with the plastic-coated wire baskets now.

I viewed the link but will have to look elsewhere for the price of these baskets. I didn't realize how many videos there were on YTube regarding gardening/hanging baskets. Now I'll have another addiction topic for my YT viewing! lol

I am just eager to get to the planting in stage :)

I'm not convinced of their use after hearing about Shirley's experience of the plastic gates becoming brittle, but thank you Sixpence for the Amazon information.
