i agree with the others just wait, and give them lots of water and when you find your first female flower what you could do is hand polonate them.
to hand polonate you have to take a male flower when it is blooming and take it off the stem. then you pull off the pettles so that the insides of the flower is left. take the Stamen and rub it on the Stigma of the female flower and then you are done. you just have to wait and see if the flower is polonated.:0)

Hi Asyaver, I'm also growing pumpkins for the first time. I've posted a pic today of the first one to appear. Just make sure the plants are getting enough water (I also give them some liquid potash/tomato feed now and again). Good Luck with yours.

On question - growing pumpkins

Hi... Pumpkins have male and female flowers...and the male flower always blooms ahead of the female....so just be patient...the flowers that will set fruit are yet to come...and when they do you will note a little swelling just behind the blossom and when the flower falls off the swelling will continue to grow into a pumpkin.
won't be long.
Best Wishes
Lori

If they are not flowering yet you could move them as long as you do not disturb any of the soil around the root and water them well before and after moving.

On question - transplanting tomatoes

I agree, I don't think they would take to it nicely. Yes, get some wire or lattice or whatever, against which you can tie them up. It will be interesting to see which tomatoes they will be and what they'll taste like.

On question - transplanting tomatoes

Probably best left alone if they are flowering-stake them so they dont flop over. Apparently it also happens a lot near sewage farms for reasons I wont go into!

Lovely photo! Why don't you type in the name in google images and you will get plenty to compare with.

On photo - Canna "DURBAN" ???

Lovely leaves, nice colouring.

I just added a bit to my comment but I think you've already done what I suggested lol : )

Perhaps the colour comes as the leaves age. ?
I would query it with the supplier. You should get what you paid for, and if they sent a substitute they should have told you.

Looks like it's working : )

Love your color combinations !

I meant the hedgehog Asyaver- they love slugs! Beer traps are effective at killing slugs but I find it a terrible waste (of beer-not slugs!)

Have a look at my latest blog for an organic alternative! I grow my hostas in a pot with a copper band around it. So far so good....

Slugs enjoy my hostas too.

I see you're taking precautions!

does it have thorns? I've had berberis before and was even so brave as to move the plants from an established location...as I recall the spine tips break off and leave little 'slivers' under the skin...It's a good deterrent in traffic areas...
cotoneaster has berries and is evergreen,
