Robin the Gardener !

Posted on 7 Nov, 2009 26 comments

I had a lot of help from a certain little chap today :)

\
“Can I do anything for you ?”

\
“I could do some weeding ”

\
“Would you like more cable ?”

\
“We don’t need any more water do we lol?”

\
“If that’s all I’ll just play hide and seek ! ”
Thank you I couldn’t have done it without you :)

What a lovely blog Aster. The robin is a star in the garden alright, and always welcome. Your photos are brilliant, you must have been so quick with the camera, or did he pose? Loved your comments too.

Yes Mad I was pretty quick but it helps to put the 'burst' on the camera, which takes 3 at a time. That way I catch him a few times and pick the best :)

Lovely blog, Aster! I loved those photos of the cheeky little Robin.

My wife & I saw one just last Wednesday afternoon as we made our way downtown! I see a few quite often, I'm sure I've seen a pair on more than one occasion very close to here. Does anyone know if they mate for life & yearly?

8 Nov, 2009

They only stay together for the breeding season Balcony, which starts in May or earlier if mild. They have several broods in that year.
