amid the chaos ............

After five years my garden is finally ready to take shape,i know it still looks a bombsite but this is progress believe it or not .When we moved in we knew the house was a bit of a " do er upper " but the garden has by far been the biggest shock !!! .
After much hard work and expense it is now at the stage of planning the new layout .

The previous owner thought he was a diy expert but in reality made a massive bodge of everything the garden was planned to be a mediterranean style garden that inc roof terrace over the extension he had built that was until planning found out and refused the lot .
So 5 years on after sorting the house ,having child num 3 and us both working full time to pay for it all we have knocked down cleared the extension and ripped up the mediterranean horror ready to try and create a garden at last.
i am a very keen gardener and have been so frustrated by the lack of garden we have although i have got an allotment to keep me going :0)

Welcome to GOY. I did come from the Mediterranean myself but did not bring my Mediterranean garden with me. The Gentleman must have known his limits. The place looks a bit scary for me but I am sure that with hard work and your gardening skills it will soon be transformed to something pleasant to enjoy for many years.
