Last Friday my cousin and his wife arrived from Australia ,as you can imagine there was great excitment as we waited for them .
We hadn’t anyway of contacting them and didn’t know for sure when they would arrive , we waited and waited all day Friday and at 5.00 pm at last they walked in …
The last time they came which was 4 years ago , they wanted to visit Sandringham house and gardens , we did take them but the house was closed due to something else going on …. so this time we were able to spend the day there , here are some of the photos ..

The gardens and lake still look colourful even this late in the year ……

Autumn Crocus … Colchicum plenty of these beautys growing in the lawn ..

Next in the museum

Dykers boots for TT …

King Edward VII ’s Tricycle for Gee …..

Then lastly one or two cars for the boys .. The James bond 007 miniture was made by Aston Martin fully equiped with guns etc.

1924 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost

Rolls Royce Phantom V

Sorry if I’m not answering anybody queries , I’ll catch up as soon as I can ..

It was immaculate as far as being spotlessly clean etc. but they do have all the things they have collected on show and areas are cordoned of where they would come in to sit beside the fire , the corgi grave stones are dotted about amongst the trees , they mainly only spend christmas in the house these days , we were told by one of the attendants that they spend other times in a house in the grounds which is much smaller and they look after themselves , even cooking and washing up !!
