My Husband use to live in Bury St. Edmonds so every so often we go back for a nostalgic trip down memory lane ..
The Abbey Gardens are a must and win many Briton in Bloom awards

The colours are stunning but these pictures cannot really do justice to the magnificence of the displays.

In the grounds the picturesque River Lark meanders it,s way under the ancient Abbots Bridge

There,s the Old English Rose Garden with it,s seat made out of a wing from a Liberator Bomber plane generously donated by the US Air Force …
Ther,s also a special garden for the blind with everything written in Brail and all the plants are scented …
I promise you it,s well worth a visit if you are in the area ..
And then the High light of the day was to visit our very own Noseypotter on our way home …

O.k girls I know you are all jealous … yes I did see that body and Tattoos …
We felt very privileged to get close up and touch Leighs Art work ( and I don,t mean the body .. Lol …)

Thank you Leigh for making us so welcome it was the perfect end to a very enjoyable day

It looks a lovely place Amy. So colourful ( and I don't mean Nosypotter's tatoos lol ) Having worked with blind and deaf people in the past I find it encouraging to hear of places that give a thought to them.
