We were lucky to come across this Wyevale G.C. by accident on our holiday, the nearest one to us in Norfolk is 20 miles away ... we very rarely go there as their prices are extortionate and yes Snoopdog I'm sure they did still make a profit , good luck with your new move & planning Paul ..

My local Wyevale is within walking distance so I have taken advantage of their bargain offers too but don't think I have done as well as you, Amy :) Well done. Can't make out what that last plant is - need new specs I think. Please enlighten me!

Brilliant Amy ! :) x
It's good to have a bargain, and just think of the profit they make on those things when they sell them at the 'proper' price !
I like that last one. It looks a very attractive shrub :)

A local garden centre was recently taken over by Wyevale and fortunately we happen to be driving in that direction tomorrow so many thanks for this!!

Check out Wyevale GC. 40% off pre order, on line, click and collect, bedding plants for next year. 20 for 2.39 or others 20 for 3.49. You choose the week you wish to collect them, from end of Feb to end of April, and pay on collection. The plants are small but can be grown on in greenhouse, or in my case, 4 tier poly greenhouse. They used to be Garden Centre Group but this year Wyevale have taken over. I have used this method of ordering with GCG for the last three years and have been very satisfied. They also do delivery but you have to pay. It's worth looking at their whole website. On reading this back I think I should be on commission!!

Amy do some research about the ph soil before planting and aftercare to preserve your bargains.
Generalisation of instructions is too common.

Lots of bargains to be had there Amy, I must say that you did extremley well with the Strawberry Tree! look forward to watching its progress ;0))

I never heard of anyone having a soil testing business !
We live and learn. They have a soil testing kit at the GC
so I will invest in one next week. Something to play about with in the bad weather.

We were lucky with the Strawberry tree Carole it was the only one left .... Diane we use to test thousands of acres of land mostly for British sugar ,all farmers need to know what crops they can grow also you can have dozens of different readings for one field ... Good luck with your kit ,you will see what I mean if you take samples from different spots in your garden ...

Amy I would first of all check to see it is not pot bound, they thrive in slightly acidic to neutral soil.. do remember they are slightly tender when young, but should be fine when mature..hope this helps x

Well done Val It will be interesting to see what you have bought :o)
